There were a few decent stages in the first 2 weeks, which made up for nothing happening in the gc (or so it seemed) until the final few stages. I was happy with the outcome, despite not being particularly taken with TGH, which always helps.

If nothing interesting happens in the last few stages if this Vuelta, that will justifiably be a 3 or 4 race.

It was great that it went to the final TT although that was a bit of a let down.

The Stelvio stage was a classic (as always) and TGH a worthy winner in the end.
