Giant trance 29er 2 or 3

in MTB buying advice
Hi guys,

As someone who is pretty new to mtbing and looking to buy their first full sus.
Anyone think the trance 2 is worth the extra cash over the 3. Looking at 29ers on both.

    Maybe someone else knows something i dont.

    The Marzzochi fork is made by fox and has the same damper. the shock is the same.
    The £500 difference appears to be shimano Slx vs sram eagle sx but thats not it because i could buy either groupset for half that difference.

    If it's the 2020 models then I would say the 2 is worth the extra as SRAM SX is real entry level kit and DUB bb is stupid.

    For the 2021 models it's harder to decide. Full SLX kit and better brakes on the 2 are very tempting but not worth £500 extra. I don't know how much better the AM wheel set is over the XCT.
    If push came to shove I think I'd go for the 2021 Trance 29 3 and upgrade the drive chain as it wears out. It's also a much nicer colour than the 2. :)
