Where can I buy bib-tights with no chamois or insert?
I'm looking to buy the above to wear over shorts.
I posed the question to Chain Reaction Cycles but just got an automated response " .... We currently stock a wide range of brands and their products" etc etc.
Does anyone know where I can get some?
Cheers.

I think most if not all the bibtights that Lusso sell are available without a pad https://www.lusso.bike/collections/mens-bibtights'Hello to Jason Isaacs'1

Thanks. Didn't work, they've all got padded inserts :-(Cargobike said:Savoie between the Glandon and the Madeleine.0 -

Try pearl izumi too1

Bioracer do them. Currently on sale at half price https://shop-bioracer.co.uk/product/spitfire-bibtight-tempest/
Pearl Izumi do them too, I have a pair I bought last year. Thicker and more water resistant than the Bioracer ones.0 -
Running Lycra tends not to have a chamois / pad.0

Assos do a few without pads not cheap unless they’ve got your size on the outlet site. Only had small and XXXL which probably is the size of a elephants waders.0

As above, Lusso is always a good bet for this. Their Roubaix tights are nice and warm for the winter months.
If you're planning on wearing shorts with insert underneath then beware that from my experience the stitching on the tights cuts across the stitching on the insert in your shorts and destroys them pretty quickly.

I’m not sure how wearing tights over your shorts can destroy the pad. I have been wearing tights with no pad over my shorts for 35 years plus and I have never anything happen to the shorts. At one time you could only get tights without a pad.0

Sorry for a bit of a hijack but I was looking at the Lusso tights as I want a pad less pair too. But does anyone know what sort of leg length they come out at? I’m lanky at 6’5” and have a good 34” inside leg.0

I would recommend that you contact Lusso direct.wilkij1975 said:Sorry for a bit of a hijack but I was looking at the Lusso tights as I want a pad less pair too. But does anyone know what sort of leg length they come out at? I’m lanky at 6’5” and have a good 34” inside leg.
They lengthened the sleeves for me on one of their jackets free of charge. They may be able offer you something similar, or at least answer your question.0 -
I didn't say it would destroy the pad. In my own experience from wearing non padded tights over padded shorts the stitching from the tights has rubbed on the stitching on the shorts and has created holes in the shorts and has destroyed them.webboo said:I’m not sure how wearing tights over your shorts can destroy the pad. I've also been looking at getting unpadded tights to go over bib-shorts, but also without bibs as I don't really fancy wearing two sets of bibs at the same time. I see that Lusso do these as well, so thanks for the link!0
