DMs were received for both red.rider and rozzer32 - not that it made much difference as both have gone for Rui Costa today 🤣

You are both just copying me. :p

My thought process was, if this is for the breakaway, maybe one of the Portuguese dudes would go for it since this stage was supposed to originally be in Portugal. I was deciding between Nelson Oliveira and Rui Costa, and Oliveira only ever wins in ITT's so figured Rui Costa might want to turn back the clock and give it a shot, since there was some moderate climbiness in the stage.

The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.

Stage 16 - Aranburu if you are feeling generous.

Rozzer32's mind games appear to have hit red.rider hard, resulting in a pick beyond the deadline (would have been Philipsen for anyone tracking late picks) - Rozzer32 also had a late change via DM (11:52) to Roglič and today's stage could decide the season if it goes the way of the Slovenian (barring a Froome-esque return by Mas).

Sorry TheBigBean, I am always feeling generous but the orange man in the white house is showing us all how important it is to stick to the pre-agreed rules in the final tally - 3 minutes here, an hour or two there becomes no deadline (I'm sure shockedsoshocked will appreciate the consistency, if not the implementation).

Hopefully this will be an inconsequential lapse of concentration on my side :s

Come on Roglic. Bring out your inner Cav and sprint like you’ve never sprinted before.

    Think I’m being too optimistic.

Was tired when I posted this, as I genuinely thought I'd picked Cavagna and was excited to see him in the break
