Soggy outside at the moment but forecast has improved and now says it's going to stay dry for a while.

Feeling broken today. I think it was from trying to keep up with the yoga ladies who could almost fold themselves in half. Riding up a big, long hill on the flat geared single speed probably didn't help.

Back on the WFH bus today.

About to jump on the turbo.

Ready for the weekend now, despite this week needing to be twice as long!

  • Morning all, blowing a gale again here. Daughter off school with water eyes, nose, and cough. Son off to school with mrs DHL. Hoping hermes deliver his birthday present by the weekend. Prey for hermes. Prey for the bucket wheel excavator.

Morning from the soggy climbs of Centeral Heckshire. Amusing letter through the door last night, parish council want to know if we will be putting up Christmas lights as they want to co ordinate the lighting. Sounds like effort to me.

Anyway no pedal today much soggyness out, may try later as its meant to stop later.

Onward to looking at stuff online!

Thistle you should 🤔know better at your age.🙄 fancy going single speed and yoga.🤣

Is it asking too much to be bendy like the ladies and have legs like Hoy?

  • Swam last night, fastest ever 1500m according to my Garmin.
Turbo this morning before work, Paris.
Looks like our mate Boris is going to close pubs and restaurants so will probably go out for a meal at some point before he does.

    Fantastic.

How was Regents Park? Is it busy nowadays? I haven't been since June, when some questionable riding and more time through furlough pushed me to ride out to the sticks more.

    Afternoon All,

Sitting in the office watching torrential rain bouncing off the floor to ceiling windows. Hopefully it'll stop before I have to pedal home. Now stuffing my face in between calls and meetings but good to get out the house for a bit this week.

Stropteen still in lockdown but the girl waiting for her test results is just wandering in out of the communal areas of their bit of the uni hall of residence. Best get it out the way before she comes home.

It's a shame the glass fronted high street gyms from the 90's have disappeared.

at least when it isn't raining it's become worse than ever, i don't go there much now - last weekend was wet but it was the best laps there for months as so few people out

otherwise: idiots getting too close, cutting across, no signals, big bunches too slow but weaving/wide, and since the zoo re-opened the cars are back

    makes me grumpy

mornings i've found the inner circle better for laps, fewer people, and no traffic lights

Haircut. Checked out gym, not been to the gym since March but as winter rushes on, needs must. Seems ok, wear a mask while moving about, individual stations marked out, loads of sanitiser and paper wipes. Stopped raining now, for how long? Giro it is.
  • Sounds pretty much like our gym.
Onward to Sauvignon Blanc I think.

    Evening folks,
TLW's day sounds different to mine but with a certain similarity. Should have gone for a run, but felt shite so fell asleep on the couch before cooking dinner.
Night all, at least it's Friday tomorrow.
