About to take delivery of a Giant Fastroad EX+ E Pro before the end of the week, it will come with some 'token gesture' plastic pedals which will do for the first few rides.
I just sold my full suspension mountain bike, to which i fitted Wellgo Magnesium pedals - they proved to be very comfortable, dependable and hard wearing. I feel these are perhaps overkill on the new bike, particularly with the reduce pedal forces involved in less taxing terrain and with electric assist.
So what are good items to look for ? - under £50 and either dark grey or black in colour.
There are plenty of clone Wellgo (and other) pedals from China, some probably good enough but quality could be variable, and perhaps not the materials they state. No point saving money if you end up buying twice !
