Trailer Hitch for thru-Axle skewer

Hi Folks - I have a Trek EX 8, w/ 29" wheels, and a thru-axle skewer (see pic). I'm trying to fit a trailer hitch for a "Solvit Houndabout" for a large (100lb) dog. The hitch that comes with the trailer is for a quick release (see pic) and not a thru-axle.

Does know where I can find an aftermarket hitch that would work for a thru-axle? I tried contacting the company and their distributor and they don't sell the hitch I need.

Robert Axle Project do through axles which have a bit which sticks out on the drive side for attaching a trailer to. You can use their axle finder to get the right one: https://robertaxleproject.com/cargo-child-trailers/
