Problem with left-hand Look Keo Blade2 Carbon Cromo pedal

Hey everyone,
I bought these Look Keo Blade2 Carbon Cromo pedals 3 years ago, and the left-hand one slackened off pretty quickly, but I never got around to sorting it. It’s now almost unuseable, so thought I’d ask for some advice!
I’ve heard that this is a common problem for these pedals. Is it solved by simply replacing the carbon spring, or had another part of the pedal failed? I had some Look Delta pedals for over 15 years, without any probs, so cant say I’m too impressed the longevity of these!
Any advice would be much-appreciated!
