What Seat Post?!

I’ve inherited this Giant TCR Advanced 2 pre 2010, however it doesn’t have a seat post. For the life of me, i can’t find one that is for this bike, does anyone know?

Trawling the net I think I've established that the seatpost would be a proprietary one as it appears to be an aero (elongated) design. Further research suggests that it was described as a Giant Vector Composite seatpost.

The following link takes you to a Giant spares website that appears to have the required item in stock (for pre-2016 Giant TCR frames)

Not cheap at £129.

Might be worth calling the suppier to confirm that they have one available and that it will fit your frame

Ahh, the love we show for proprietory fit. You would think someone might make an adapter for this.

Thanks for the info and the link. I can't believe the price of something which is essentially just a seat post. It's annoying how no one has made a non OEM part / an adapter to use.

Think I'll have to splash the cash now anyway.
