I bought this frame off of Ben6899, a fellow member here. I built it up using some parts I had at home and some bits from eBay. It weighs in at 8.1kg.
Hope you like it.

It goes very well for a budget build but the Deda bars are a bit odd. The shape of them probably adds 30 or 40mm to the length of the ride position so I’m going to move the seat forward 20mm and get a shorter stem.Ben6899 said:Looking good, Darrell. How does it ride?

Moving your seat to alter your reach is a bad idea.Your seat position needs to be set in relation to your knees and bottom bracket.Change stem, yes, but if that is not enough ,ebay handlebars are not that expensive. Change them.
Building a bike from cheap sale offers and Ebay is very satisfying. Well done.0 -
I did think that when I was doing it tbh so thanks for the advice. I shifted it forward by 20mm.lesfirth said:Moving your seat to alter your reach is a bad idea.Your seat position needs to be set in relation to your knees and bottom bracket.Change stem, yes, but if that is not enough ,ebay handlebars are not that expensive. I’m taking my allen-key set in my bag tomorrow so I can tinker with it if need be.
It may just be that it’s different to my Boardman.0 -
It's a long stem, Darrell. I'd start there.Ben

I changed the stem (110) for an old 90mm stem I found at home. It’s got a bit more of a rise on it and feels 100% better.
Problem is though is that I don’t like the stance.
