Jeez, i rely on these threads to know what day it it

Wet outside but looks nice later so might try and fit in a ride at lunchtime.
Otherwise WFH, gym, dumping a car full of polystyrene and cardboard, then buying stuff to fill up the freezer which should be cold now.

2nd man on van duties today. Assisting niece to move out of the rented flat she has not been in for 6 months while WFPH. No doubt the sofa and doorway combos will prove fun.

Then catch up on s6 via the uninterrupted feed on Eurosport Player, love those helicopter scenic shots, doing their entice job well.

Maybe the thread title should be 'Groundhog Day'? :)

Bits n pieces today, bit of bike prep then a roadie ride late afternoon with a mate who is a bit slower than me so it'll make me feel fast. Hope the rains ****s off.

    Morning folks,
WFH today so just had a coffee, stupid questions are still coming thick and fast.
Should have had physio for my neck this afternoon but it's been postponed as someone there has Covid symptoms so shut for a deep clean.
Friend of mine had trouble getting a large couch into his front room, another mate measured it up and chiselled a 6"X 1" channel into the wall so the bottom corner could go into it. Went straight in then, he just had to decorate the hall after.

Ooh, no, I haven't. Homemade pate though. Lovely. A bit campagne, rather than parfait. Would probably go with a red.

Had a good ride in the rain. Need to train more as my mate is now keeping up with me....

No point in going for a ride with your mate if they end up riding with you right,?

Drop 'em going uphill, chat on the easy bits. I got bored going so slowly doing the pub wobble with mates, so I'd take the worst bike available to me and still beat them up the hill.

I like to know I can drop him if needed.

You start to feel bad though when you get to the top then have to go back down to find them and ride up (and beat them) again.
