Hello.
Just bought a boardman SLR 8.6 new and I'm having some issues with the wheels. Would these fit the bike and 28c tyres on?

Unless I’m missing something. The Boardman has rim brakes and they are disc brake. Wheels.0

What issues are you having with the brand new bike ?0

Front wheel keeps going flat like after 20 mins of being fixed. Been 3 times today and every time by the time I've got it home it's gone flat. They changed the tyre for a brand new one, changed the rim tape and wastes 3 slime tubes in it and still it goes flat 🤔0

Going to have to take the wheel back again tommorrow. But would be interested anyway in any wheels that would work for under £2000

What's causing the flats ? You're taking the tube out and inflating to see whereabouts on the wheel it's going flat ?
There's always an explanation for a flat tyre.0 -
How well have you checked your tyres? A small piece of flint or glass can easily embed itself so it’s not visible. Take tyre completely off the rim and bend it backwards while running your fingers (carefully) around it.
The other thing could be a rough rim (ooh err). If you have cycled on a wheel with a deflating tyre it can cause sharp edges which will puncture your tube.
PS. Try it with a normal tube, not a ten-ton slime tube.XC: Giant Anthem X
