Hi BR crew,

I have been offered a pair of mint 2014 Clincher Enve 6.7s, with chris king hubs.

They currently have 23mm GP4000s on them, but I am struggling to find the internal rim width anywhere obvious......
Admittedly I am trying to work and cook dinner at the same time.

Does anyone have these wheels, or know the data?

Also weight - I see conflicting reports of 1420g or 1600g.

These would be for my 2018 Scott Foil RC - I was looking at Cero RC50's, but then these popped up - they are considerably more, at £1200, but maybe still a good deal? Mileage is said to be less than 300.

I don't know much about ENVE, or chris king hubs, other than knowing they are generally pretty high end, so would very much appreciate the forums opinion and know how to help me make a decision - I suspect I need to make it tonight.

PM me if you prefer.

Thankyou!

    19mm internal front, 16mm rear: https://support.enve.com/hc/en-us/articles/360040860192-SES-6-7

That page has rim weight as well, you could find the weight of the hubs and spokes. Rims are 1062g according to Enve. Spokes ~200g. CK hubs aren't the lightest, so I'd think the 1600g figure is probably roughly right.

Thankyou so much - my Foil has the brakes by the BB, and I've heard of people ith wider new style wheels having big issues with brake rub on the Dura ace units and having to change the calliper.

My current Mavics are 17mm internal front and rear, so I don't see the 16\19 being an obvious issue.

That's a shame, I though CK might be superlight, but I guess they worry more about quality than out and out weight - the seller claims they run with a tiny amount of resistance.

Well I have made an offer of a fair bit below the asking, so I'll have to wait and see what he comes back with.

At that outlay I'd be concerned about them being genuine. Any known issues of copies of these floating about? Any QR code or holographic stickies used by the manufacturers?

eeek, landed them for £1050 delivered.

Going by completed ebay listings, that looks to be pretty good.

They certainly look genuine, and he seems like a genuine seller - I have paid through paypal, and not friends and family, so should have comeback I would hope if they turn out to be fake.

Second hand is always a bit of a gamble.

    This is them:

hehehe, well they removed them from the site, so I wonder if they had issues.

I'm hoping these are worthy stand ins.
