Anyone got any dead Di2 batteries?

Anyone out there recently…or soon to be replacing Di2 batteries?
I’d like to have a go at “hacking”, the battery cell replacement, but would rather try it on a unit that isn’t in one of my bikes!
So….it’s a long-shot, but if anyone does have an expired Di2 battery unit that is destined for the bin, I’ll save it from landfill for you 😊

Just about to try the same thing on my dead di2 battery. Just working out what 14430 batteries to buy. Will report back once I’ve tried it (not sure that my dead battery is due to dead batteries though). It won’t take any charge and the battery is too low to reflash the firmware.0

Yes they are the ones I’ve ordered. £15.85 inc postage.
Haven’t seen that clip, will watch later, thanks for the link.

Guy in this clip is an arse. Why rip the contact ribbons apart like that? Keep them intact as per the other clip!pilot_pete said:Have you watched this?

Replaced the batteries tonight.
Other than a bit of fiddly soldering (it's been a while!), pretty straightforward!
Just follow the steps in the FIRST link I posted.
£15 and half hour well spent...0 -
Glad it turned out well.
I’ve got my batteries but haven’t done the work yet.0
