Just finished this build.

Wilier Team GTR frame from Probike, France (terrible for communication but it got here eventually).
Fulcrum Cento Uno Chainset
Record Levers, rear Mech, front mech
Chorus skeleton brakes
Pinarello Carbon seatpost
Campag Eurus Wheels, Vittoria Corsa tyres and latex tubes
Selle Italia saddle
Old School Cinelli Criterium bars
Look Keo carbon pedals
Elite carbon bottle cages
Some random stem

Now for a break in the weather. If it doesn't, i'm off anyway.

Put it away before it melts in all that wetness.

It got wetter than that and caked in mud!
Surprisingly, it didn't dissolve or collapse and I am not in casualty.

Rode beautifully BTW. Stopped twice to fettle.
Very comfortable ride. Still need to tweak a couple of things but so far, so good.
Reminds me a bit of the C40. Similar feel, oddly.
Back end feels really stable - there's no twitchyness to it. BB does not flex (I couldn't flex a pipe cleaner TBH). Front end is solid. Though there's a part of me that says 'chuck a longer stem on it'.
So despite having a geometry more suited to endurance, it feels responsive and all there if you fancy a stomp.

Looks like a nice frame, although those bars are odd. Lotsa spacers and a fairly long headtube for the size of the frame. Longer stem might help balance it out.

    Are you a cortical homunculus?

I think he is just getting old.

Well there is that, though I don't class 50 as 'old'. Short arms, long body and average legs.
Plus artificial hips - not as flexible.

@WS: The top tube is not that long. It looks longer because of the compact geometry. Its 54cm.
The bars? Cinelli Criterium. Old school. Not designed for the ergo lever era so the curvature is not conducive. I am rarely on the drops anyway. 23mm of spacers.
With that set up, I was on the hoods. elbows bent and quite flat really. I don't know how some riders get so flat. They must have their testicles tucked or removed.

Bars always look freaky unless you move further back and zoom in. Whatever works for you old man :D

No mudguard lugs on it then?

Cable ties and gaffer tape will soon fix that.

I'll take the shot again a little to the left.

Just built the missus one after getting the frame half price online. It's not finished in this picture before anyone rips it apart, but seems like a nice bike!
