Debonair air shaft rebound issue

Hi. Just replaced my older Yari air spring with a Debonair replacement. All seemed fine until I went to push in my rebound adjuster - the one with no grub screw, just like a push in allen key. But, it does not go in, the hole that is the bottom of the older shaft is not there. Have I bought the wrong thing? I rode it gently, and seems like it is working but didn't ride hard, just in case.
Any thoughts/knowledge?

    OMG. Ignore. I had changed the damper shaft. I learned something about forks!
