Alternative front derailleur to the Shimano Deore XT FD-M770 3 x 9 speed

Hi all,
My front derailleur on my 2007 Merlin Malt 4 has been giving me grief for the last couple of months getting stuck in the middle cog, which is bearable most of the time, but annoying some of the time. No amount of cleaning, oiling, WD-40ing seems to fix the problem permanently, so I think it's time to replace it.
The derailleur I have is the Shimano Deore XT FD-M770 3 x 9 speed, but I can't seem to find this in stock anywhere now. Shimano have probably discontinued it and replaced it with a different model, but I don't have a clue what that would be. I'm not up on the latest parts etc, so can anyone tell me what I could buy as an alternative, at a similar price point (around £30-£40) that will be in stock online.
Many thanks

Any 3x9 front derailleur will work. Front mechs all have the same throw so you can mix brands.
You just need to ensure you get one with the correct mount and pull direction.
Have you checked it's not the cable sticking or kinked?

Thanks guys.
Pretty sure it's not the cable as it goes loose when it clicks into the granny ring, but stays over the middle cog, so I can either try and go up to the big cog and hope I can drop down into the granny from there, or unclip and give it a tap with my foot. Both are a pain to do on the trail, especially when you need the granny ring in a hurry.
I'll order a new one from aliexpress. Thanks2007 Merlin Malt 40 -
Most shifting problems are fixed by replacing the cables (outer and inner).1
