Tarted up Tarmac

Posted this bike quite a while ago, but been fiddling again recently and finally got rid of the crap Axis brakes and upgraded the cockpit. Very happy with the Prime bars and stem, neatened up the front end loads. The R8000 brakes are so much better than the stock Axis ones too.

And the cockpit before the upgrade:

Looks good. What bar tape is that?

Colnago dot, it's nice and soft but quite thin. I wrapped the old tape underneath it because it was so thin and I like a bit of squish

I got envious and bought the same Colnago tape... I find it quite thick, rather than thin... quite nice though...

Really? Mine is double wrapped over my old tape and I don't think it's particularly noticeable in thickness

Finally got around to swapping out the FSA Gossamer cranks. Been wanting to do it for ages but never got round to it. Used the Praxis BB conversion to sort it.

What a stunning bike mate. Wasn't sure about the orange before but seeing it in the wild it's stunning.
