Taped Seams - Replacement Tape?

Today when I went to put my MTB shorts on my foot caught the tape, which had clearly already come away from the seam. I looked at the other tapes and they were all coming away, clearly had their day.
There must be suitable tape available to re-tape these seams, the tape that was in there is almost like a thin canvas covered in a flexible latex-like substance (hard-wearing). I'm hoping someone with experience in this sort of thing can suggest something suitable, keeping in mind it will receive a fair amount of abuse being around the seat area of waterproof cycling shorts (Endura MT500).
Thanks!

I would glue them back down with Copydex. It is a flexible latex-based adhesive.
See how you get on, it is a cheap fix that may last for a long time.1 -
Camping shops sell tape and glue to repair taped seams on tents and other waterproof clothing. Try there?
Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

Good suggestions, thanks. Will visit the local camping shop next time I'm in town, see what they have. Copydex is good as a backup idea.0

That sounds like a more "certain to succeed" plan than mine.
But more expensive.0
