Deep scratch on Zonda rim

Somehow I've managed to scratch my rim, it superficial but does have some depth, brake noise when breaking, rim around this is fine, what's the best way of dealing with it

    With a bit of fine emery and flat block remove the alloy that has been pushed out and is now above the braking surface. Do nothing else. Do not try to remove the scratch. If you have done that properly you will feel nothing when braking and pad wear will not be affected.
    Then ride the bike and forget about it.
