new bike picked up last Friday only been out the once but liking it already

    Congratulations, looking at the picture I’m not sure you could call the seat-stays, seat-stays. But for want of a better name… what’s the advantage of them attaching to the seat tube half way down?
    Not forming the traditional diamond with the two triangles, what is it (make/model) by-the-way?

    Lots of makers are doing the dropped seat stays this year.
    Although that does look quite extreme.

    I bet it's latterly rigid and vertically compliant ? 😏

    I think that's the Cannondale gravel bike, the Topstone so there's a pivot at the seatstays which provides suspension. This is probably why they're so low.

    yes its the Topstone 105 model was out on the road with it last night really liking it
