Congratulations, looking at the picture I’m not sure you could call the seat-stays, seat-stays. But for want of a better name… what’s the advantage of them attaching to the seat tube half way down?
Not forming the traditional diamond with the two triangles, what is it (make/model) by-the-way?

Lots of makers are doing the dropped seat stays this year.
Although that does look quite extreme.
I bet it's latterly rigid and vertically compliant ? 😏0 -
I think that's the Cannondale gravel bike, the Topstone so there's a pivot at the seatstays which provides suspension. This is probably why they're so low.1

I need a bike to to ride it just in night and have a healthy body.
