    Morning

I think today i will bask while I can.

It's hot already, and still got the allergic rash from yesterday from going out in that dangerous countryside stuff

If I can find a cafe or ice cream shop that's open I might have to go for a cycle and suffer the consequences.

The garage in the village sells ice cream!

Back to walking hounds and with an added bonus of eldest coming with me

Work stuff and then probably road bike ride

Morning, lovely sunny day again seems lots of people are having work done as all I can hear are various powertools. mean time I'm just sat with an espresso and the iPad, don't worry not going full hipster anchor.

Just given the hounds raw chicken wings for breakfast, which they seem to appreciate. Another hot day which will be largely spent working in my North facing den. Then Zoom drink this evening with a couple of mates.

    Quite warm here already.
Today's itinerary will consist of bread making, schoolwork, coffee, maybe a walk at a local beach along the dunes and if I have enough energy after that, I need to trim the Rhododendron down the drive back. It's a 15 minute job, 1 hour tidy.

Facebook found my truck yesterday dumped on a side street pretty banged up.

Hopefully still written off as it's a mess and currently in the recovery yard waiting to be dusted down etc.

The good news is that I survived my MTB ride.

No, a slightly tipsy error (not mine) left my front door unlocked and four scrotes came in around 2.30am and took the keys.

    Afternoon folks,
Not so traditional Thursday morning hangover was present earlier. I'm out of practice with this lockdown malarkey. We had a few beers in a mate's garden, so much easier than virtual pub with people dropping in and out according to connection speed.
Lovely and toasty out but comfortable working temperature in my dark corner of the dining room.
Should sort some food out now, getting peckish.

Xxxx that is hot out. Tough being a spanish workman (Manuel Labourer, innit) in these temps. 31 by the time I canned it for the day. 3 litres of water consumed during the 4 hour shift.

Rest of the day = potter, odd jobs, shade, barbie laterz. Plan.

We just had our garden bloke round to do some work, ****ed if I'm going to do that stuff in these temperatures.

V68 - theres a virgin media outage in Londonshire apparently so may explain it.

HD, hope the vans the only thing taken, work wagons can be replaced easily enough.

It's alright now so I have to keep working. There was a huge outage for a few days some time back after some workmen ripped out a load of cables. This was the picture of what they'd done

Best comment on the local news website was "That doesn't auger well"
Although I wonder how many people got it.

    F*ck off you lot. I am 50.

Nice work SG - i'll print it off and put it on the wall.

Talking about Porsche drivers being w@nkers:

Pulled up at local beach to go to said dunes with the toots.
Parked next to a scruffy black Cayman with what I think was an aftermarket bolt on rear spoiler.
I though I might get some chat out of the owner if I could see him.
There was a 'Press' card in the front window.
He was lying on the grass between a wind breaker and his car.

Me: "Hello! I see you have bolted a spoiler on, I have a built in one"
Him: "I'm trying to relax, get out of my face"
Me: 'It's a nice day and I was just saying hello"
Him: "It would have been a nice day if I hadn't met you".

This was all in front of my 7 year old. She was astonished.
Later, I decided to reverse on my way out in a fashion that put my exhaust in his face - literally and then popped it in Neutral and revved the engine.
He sat up red as a beetroot, sporting one helluva facial expression. I saw this in my rear view mirror as I drove away.
    Shorty was howling with laughter.

Eh up Grandad, been to Hawaii already
