I probably would just to avoid the temptation to jump the lights sometime, but others might have a different answer.0

Find somewhere else to train more free of lights and junctions, or reduce interval lengths so they cannot be messed up by red lights.================

Interval training is best done on a turbo or a quiet road.1

^^^ This
It p1sses me off no end when I can't finish an interval because of lights, traffic or other things. Even though I have roads near me that are reasonably traffic free I still do almost all my short interval stuff on the turbo - longer intervals aren't so bad (2x2 or tempo blocks) because the average power over those is expected to fluctuate a bit moreFat chopper. Some racing. Some testing. Some crashing.

I genuinely don't think it matters. Go as hard or as steady as you feel... save anything targeted for the turbo.Ben

A friend of mine used to do this and more than once compromised his safety at lights because he was too busy watching "the numbers". Idiotic. Change your route, find a quiet industrial estate or save it for the turbo as suggested...0
