Sram XO1/Whyte T130

Advice needed PLEASE. Before I take the plunge and fork out the best part of a grand; is the new Sram XO1 drivetrain compatible with a Whyte T130 SCR Works which has Sram Roam wheels. I've tried asking Chain Reaction but I suspect they're a bit busy and haven't heard back.
Many thanks in advance......

The short answer is yes. Depending on what you have now, you might need to change the freehub body - https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/hub-spares/sram-xd-x0-rise-60-b1-roam-30-roam-40-rail-40-rise-xx-freehub-body-11-speed/ appears to be the right one, you need an XD type. You may have to change the bottom bracket as well. New X01 cranks use a DUB axle, you would need a DUB bottom bracket which fits your frame.

Edit: if you don't want to change the freehub body, you can also run an NX Eagle cassette on a Shimano style freehub, but you lose a little range and it's a lot heavier.

I had XO1 on my Whyte T130C RS. It was so good that I had a good look at the 2x10 on my YT Capra and decided to convert the Capra to 12-speed as well. But I sure did NOT want to spend the money for XO1. After a lot of investigation I went for GX. Yes, GX is a little bit heavier, but the performance is so good that I could not tell the difference when going from one bike to the other. Consider it and save yourself a mint of money. :)
