Mavic Aksium (disc) hub removal

Hello - I was giving my bike a clean at the weekend and removed the cassette on my Mavic Aksium wheel (pull thru axel) When I lifted the cassette off the free hub body lifted off with it.

Not sure if it should do that, it seemed a bit strange, but equally I couldn't easily see how it should normally fix as there were no pawls or bolts??

Sounds about normal... many freehubs slide on and off and are only held in place by the hub cap
