Any interest here for this? It’s on eBay at the moment too - hadn’t bothered here as yet since nothing much seems to go. The description on eBay is:
Selling my used Trek Domane 5.9 frame and fork, size 54/medium. It’s in very good condition and has been my summer/best bike so it’s rarely been out in the rain and has been kept clean and in good repair since I’ve had it.
There are a couple of things I want to make clear. There’s a small chip in the paint on the drive side chainstay and at one point I had to send it away to get a repair done to a crack on the seatmast. It was sent to Rob Hayles (ex-professional rider who now runs a carbon repair company called re-carb so it’s done properly). There are pictures of both of these things included; you’ll see the seatmast looks pretty thick and solid now rather than the thin layer of carbon that it used to be. This will last a lifetime now! The only other marks are minor things that will probably clean off pretty easily and I’ll give it the once over before sending it.
The colour isn’t done justice in a picture. The white is pearlescent and has a lovely sheen to it.
The isospeed decoupler on the seatpost is amazing and really does make the ride comfortable. I’m also including a longer 175mm mast cap rather than the 135mm one it came with. This is lighter weight carbon and is very nice. I still have the smaller cap if you want it. I can also include a set of bontrager handlebars (or giant ones if you prefer). The stem is a 90mm bontrager one (the original equipment). Additionally, the Duotrap speed/cadence sensor will be included along with a spoke magnet and a crank magnet.
Size-wise, I’m about 5’10” and about 30” inside leg so found the original seatpost didn’t give me the right riding position (hence the longer post cap). With the smaller one, I’d say that the bike can fit anyone from 5’6” or so up to 5”11 with a longer stem and the longer seatpost cap. If you’re 6’ it might be a bit small for you. The riding position is very much endurance biased with a more upright seating position for comfort. It’s still no slouch, though, and you can get a good pace going if you’re fit enough (I’m not!!).
I’d like to get around £500 for it but will consider sensible offers. Prefer collection from Dartford but could probably post after tomorrow/Friday at the buyers cost. I’ve got the Di2 frame grommets for it if they’re wanted.
A couple of pics, more available if wanted:

Hi could be interested, just want to know if you would ship to Ireland. Thanks0

I could do so long as you’re willing to take the risk of damage0

I looked at this, John, and thought "ooh that's nice, shame it's too small"... but then I see you reckon it's okay for someone at 5'11".
It maybe is a bit on the small side as I'm 5'11.5" (who's counting?). What was wrong with the riding position, for you at 5'10"?Ben

I struggle with back and neck pain so I’ve tried making it fit. The long seat tube cap helps me in terms
Of it fitting my inside leg but with 90mm stem it’s just too short in reach and 100mm is just too long. Which is weird. The 56 I’ve bought to replace it is a size I tried in the shop and the combination of reach and height was spot on but there were none around on eBay when I looked so I thought I’d try to make a 54 fit. The long seat tube cap plus a decent stem (I can include a 90mm and a 100mm) and yes I reckon it’d fit but I’m not an expert and I guess it depends on your flexibility
Edit. Having just put another comment on I realise that most of the above is a load of bull! I was never that uncomfortable but it doesn’t have the front isospeed. Apologies.0 -
Hmmm
I'm flexible (in that weird way that cyclists are... ask me to do yoga and nope), but I think it'll be too small if you felt cramped on it with a 90mm stem. I have a long reach so would likely feel the same on a 100/110mm stem.
I can't see you struggling to sell it. It's a lovely frameset.Ben

That might be the case to be fair. The trek size chart has up to 5’9” for size 54 but that’s with the 135mm post cap and I guess a 100mm stem (but mine had a 90mm bontrager stem left so I’d assumed it was the stock one). I’m selling it with the 175mm cap so that’s an instant boost. The head tube isn’t all out racer short and there’s 25mm of spacers on it.
Should have also said that the front isospeed on the new frame was a bigger attraction, not just the sizing, which wasn’t all that awful to be fair.
Hoping it sells - the new frame needs paying for!0 -
Re damage to frame should’ve be an issue if it’s well packed in a proper bike box. I bought a frame here a few years ago without problems. I’d be happy to go ahead if we can agree a price. Can do bank transfer, PayPal or revolut.0

It’s definitely in a proper bike box, there’s foam padding on pretty much every tube and I’ll be happy to get a couple of rolls of bubble wrap to add to it. Would you want the longer seat tube cap or the shorter one (hoping it’s the long one!)? I’ll chuck in a couple of Di2 grommets and the 100mm stem too.
PM me with your best offer and let’s see0 -
Price drop - now £450 plus delivery or sensible offer. If you’re within 10 miles of Dartford (and not in central London!) I’ll even deliver it in person. Can’t say fairer than that!0

Oh and the Di2 grommets. Probably only got the shorter seatpost cap now though - I do have the 175mm one but it’s the top of the range lightweight carbon version so I’ll be looking to stick that on eBay separately. If you want it let me know and we’ll work it out. 90mm and 100mm stems also included.0
-
And updated sizing - maybe 5’6” with the short cap up to about 5’10” with the 175mm cap. Leg length would probably go higher but you’d want an increasingly longer stem the taller you are. After all, the pros go for smaller frames and long stems don’t they!0
