Trek Roscoe 8 or Vitus Sentier 29 VR SX Eagle

I am looking to buy a hardtail. I’m using my full sus for everything after I sold my cyclocross as I just wasn’t riding it. I’ve been looking for weeks and narrowed it down to these two. Wiggle are expecting new stock of the Vitus in soon so I need to make a decision. What’s everyone’s opinion and what would you go for? I do want a 29er but would consider the Roscoe due to the plus size tyres and ability to go 29. Cheers

Did you choose between the Roscoe and Sentier?
