Things seem to be escalating since the killing of George Floyd. Cities are now under curfew.

Here's some footage of people being shot with non lethal rounds for standing on their porch.

Land of the free. Innit.
🤔🤔🤔The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
Did anyone expect any different under the circumstances?
It only takes one incident to cause an outpouring of emotion that quickly escalates. Pent up frustrations alongside other factors including spiralling unemployment, increasing debt, homelessness and little in the way of healthcare, I'm surprised more of America isn't burning tbh.
It's less than a decade since Tottenham and the surrounding area went up following the Mark Duggan shooting. It's easy to point the finger at America, but we've been just as culpable here in the past too.
I'm still surprised that there has been no mass disorder in the UK, however I genuinely think it will happen before the end of the summer, especially if a further lockdown is enforced as C19 takes a grip again and the government realises that it cannot bail out businesses long term and keep people in their jobs.0
