Thru axle compatibility question
Hi All.
I could do with replacing my thru axle on the front of my CAADX for another with a lever the can be moved round (it’s so I can tighten on the roof rack I have).
The one supplied has a fixed lever, which makes it a right pain to tighten/loosen on the rack.
My question is, can I use a lever (brand X from Wiggle) with a longer thread (same pitch) but otherwise identical spec?
The one I have now is 12x 125x 1.5pitch x 10mm long thread.
The brand x is 12x 125x 1.5pitch x 17mm long thread.
Any idea if it’s ok to switch them?
