Need to start posting pics but my favs are

    T-Mobile
Astana from 2008 I think it was. Dont like the black shorts now, and missing the Sin, Corn and steepe eagle doesnt really sell the brand very well.
ONCE Pink jersey, why did I only buy the shorts !
Juraj or Peter Sagan, Slovak National Champions with Bora

Never been a fan of the British champs jersey. The union flag is iconic and it just gets reduced to three bands. Some band like Aussie green and gold word, ours doesnt work for me.

Always though the Leopard Trek jerseys had a classy simplicity to them...

  • I just couldn't resist and have just bought a replica La Vie Claire jersey.
I've always wanted a Mondrian and suppose this is as close as I'll ever get.

Not world tour, but the last JLT Condor jersey was great

Fat chopper. Some racing. Some testing. Some crashing.

Good call. That jersey is so simple yet looks great.

Only thing wrong is the blue on the helmet....well, that and the apparently knob size contest taking place in the background :D

Always felt it looked quite a lot like a club kit rather than a pro kit.

I mainly liked it because it was the jersey in which Jan actually took it to Armstrong.

Same with this; I always felt it looked like those Euro company club kits you get; like a bunch of private bankers from Switzerland.

    My top 3.

    1. The Tour version of the '98 Mercatone uno kit. The matching accessories are also critical in this.

    2. Boogerd's full national champs Dutch kit.

    3. Always had a soft spot for the 2008 QS jersey

I do love the pantani image. But I'm biased as he is my all time favourite rider.

I have to say I have always loved the csc kits from the mid 00s. I think the 07 and 08 kits were both class.

Re CSC, I preferred Canc's Swiss champion efforts at Saxo.

I remember seeing the CSC fan club riding up Alpe d'Huez back in the day.
Every one of them in full kit and with replica team bikes. There must have been hundreds.
    Never seen devotion like it.
There must be dozens of riders with the wrong bikes after stopping at the top.
    Yeah that was good kit.

The Bianchi celeste has heritage though, in the same way that Brazil and yellow, or the Netherlands and orange do in football. It's just the nuts.

actually Brasil used to play in white. It was only after a losing in the world cup of 1950 they vowed never to play in white again

Kinda explains the yellow jerseys when they won being preferred. No? 😉
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

May as well ask what is second best....

A bit of Mondrian is difficult to beat. I would wear the Molteni Arcore one though, it looks tougher whilst I'm pretending not to die up the hills.

I'm clearly in a minority, but I think this jersey/kit is terrible.

So many good ones - and bad ones - for me some of both already mentioned which just goes to show how subjective it is.

I like the Bianchi jersey Ulrich wore, also the pink T Mobile kit - a bit retro but classy and stand out in the peloton.
I quite like some of the AG2R kit - not something you'd ever dare design yourself but somehow brown, white and light blue works.
Some of the more blue Quickstep kits were nice.
Some of those Italian teams with a million sponsors on can look good.
I've remember thinking Contador looked good in a red kit but I may be thinking of the Vuelta leader's jersey for Tinkoff ?
    The yellow Once kit.

To be honest my choice would probably change if you asked me next week - I like a kit that stands out and looks like a cycling kit - hence not a fan of Leopard Trek (doesn't stand out) or Rock Racing ( doesn't look like a cycling kit).

Yup, so I bought one last night. I resisted the temptation to get the matching shorts, but today I showed SWMBO what I'd bought (I know - silly mistake) and she said she would buy me the Mapei shorts and Jersey. I tried to refuse, honest I did, but you know the lady is always right!

    Some others for the mix.

I always like the Team Colombia kit.

Omega-Pharma Quickstep 2013 gets my vote of their iterations - when the shoulders weren't black.

Always had a soft spot for Astana - esp with Nibs.

Garmin of the Sharp era wasn't bad.

There was a time the forum got all doe-eyed about the Cervelo Test Team Kit

And the Radioshack-Layopard merged kit was probably the best combo

I like the famous Mapei kit... I've got a Mapei cap I wear sometimes but that's about as far as I'd go.

The full Mapei kit? Please think of the eyes of unfortunate bystanders
