Well not long ago I got myself a specialized pitch comp. Love the bike.. Was going to make some changes to her. But then I found this. And things have changed. So am going to run a 1x9 on my new one.
Any other ideas.

    You may be deciding to run 1x9 because you have a load of 9-speed kit in the shed. In which case, great choice!
    But of not, then don't choose 1x9, go 1x11 instead with a wide range cassette. This will make the bike a lot more versatile. :)

    Yeah got 9 speed cassette, shifter and derailleur. So may as well use it. My legs will eventually get used to hauling my ass up the hills
