Which wheels?

Which wheels would you recommend:

1. DT Swiss ER1400 spline disc

2. Cero RC35 Carbon disc

Have Giant Defy Advanced pro 3. i am 90kg. Ride UK roads 100mpw. No racer but the reason for the upgrade is to help go faster, however, as roads are mixed need to think about that.

Any experience or thoughts. Both around £600

I'm assuming you have the 2020 version with S,R2 wheels. TBH I wouldn't upgrade until there worn out. They are good capable wheels and the DT Swiss or Cero,s will not make you any faster IMHO, the only thing that will make you faster is YOU. I'm currently running giants SLR2 carbon disc wheelset on my defy pro 2 and im no quicker on this bike than on my daily commuter with borg 31 rim braked wheels.
Too many bikes according to Mrs O.

If there ok stick with them or look at handbuilts from wheelsmith, cycleclinic amongst others. Personally I like and use cycleclinic wheels.

You’ll need to go deeper if you want to go faster

Another vote for handbuilts. You can choose the spec. and the costs and it will probably be easier to get parts in the future. It will also probably give the wheels a longer life and so better value.
