Ridgeback Expedition - what would you upgrade and why?

I have one of these:

It may not be the most expensive, but I like it. It goes anywhere, it's fun to ride, you feel the bumps and it works on road or dirt. But
I have some spare cash lucky me. Any suggestions what to change to "improve" the bike, and why? It would help me have a starting point for research. My own guess is that the rims look a bit cheap, but not sure what sexier rims would add to the ride, and what I might choose instead?
I'm open to suggestions :-)
