Posting abroad when selling?

Hi,

Just wondered what people's experience of this is? When I sell things (e.g. cycling kit) I usually just sell in the UK; is it any more hassle to sell things abroad (e.g. on here or ebay), or is it just that it costs a bit more?

    I've sold stuff on eBay and privately abroad many times with no problems. I always use Royal Mail or DPD if abroad as they're a lot cheaper in my experience.
    I sold some carbon bars on eBay and they went to Italy under their Global Shipping Programme. You get the UK shipping you set and post it to a distribution centre in the UK, the buyer pays the international shipping and it's sent from there. UK to Italy took about a week pre pandemic which I didn't think was too bad.
