Fizik R1 Uomo replacement heel rubber stop?

The rubber heel stop has perished on my Fizik R1 Uomo cycling shoes. Does anyone know where I can get replacements? I emailed Fizik and they advised that they no longer stock the part. I really don't want to bin them as they have plenty life in them yet.
