Is there anything available I can download to my android phone, so I can find my way around Hamsterley?

I don't know the answer to that one, but the answer is probably a big "yes!".

I typed in "Hamsterley forest mtb routes to my phone" and the first one I chose to look at (because it said "open route in mobile app") was this:

I didn't look around the page, but I did notice the word Apps right at the bottom of the page. That might or might not be the "open route in mobile app" referred to, (I doubt it). Just have a look around.
