Carbon wheel upgrades

Hi, I have a set of prime se 50mm carbon wheels, less than a year. I'm thinking of upgrading, but will buying zipp 303, reynolds 46 or corima 47s etc be much of a gain in performance. I'm 6 1 84kg, ftp around 270. I have zondas on my other bike which are great, my prime weights 1630, most of the others are between 1500 and 1600. A friend has said I'll notice little difference, he has alot more knowledge than me. Only cycling a few years. Advice appreciated, thanks.

No. The difference to the primes will be hardly noticeable, if at all. Save your money.2

I went from over 10 years of using handbuilt Mavic open pros (about as un-aero as you can get) to using Giant carbon SLR-1 42mm carbon rims and have noticed absolutely no difference what-so-ever. Maybe there's a placebo effect (at times) but seriously, it makes no difference unless you're at the peak of your fitness and trying to shave a few watts here and there.2
