First Road Bike - £1250 Budget
I like the Giant TCR Advanced 3...
Any other suggestions? 'Race' geometry preferred.

Fit is important, but after that you should buy what you like.
I'm a bit surprised that £1250 only gets Tiagra these days.
If it were me I'd consider a CAAD12 with 105 or if you can find one then a SuperSix with 105 or Tiagra.1 -
slightly above your £1250 but ive recently bought the Ribble R872 with 105 for £1300, excellent value for money although id recommend buying upgraded wheels further down the line if you go for the same build as i have

Paul's Cycles are legit, they've even got a physical store in Norfolk if you wanted to visit them post lockdown.
If there's any CAAD 12's still about in your size I'd definitely buy that. They're unparalleled when it comes to bang for your buck and suit your need for a racy bike.0 -
If you're anywhere near Hull, this is a good deal (they have 1 Medium left in stock):

P.S. I have a TCR, they're a great bike - but as mentioned above, the CAAD frames are also great.0 -
For £1250 I would'nt settle for anything less than 1050
-
You can get one of these for £850 with a 105 groupset:
https://www.decathlon.co.uk/edr-af-endurance-road-bike-black-105-id_8529300.html
The bike has had loads of great reviews (and I own an earlier incarnation which I'm very happy with).

I've owned a supersix and I sold it to buy a CAAD12.
You can get a CAAD12 with 105 for your budget and I don't think there is a better bang for buck anywhere right now.

This is worth a consideration though:

Another vote for Decathlon. Very, very good value. I got the disc brake version with 105 for miles under your budget.1

Unfortunately the CAAD12 is reserved for a week, I'm not far from there shop.singleton said:I've owned a supersix and I sold it to buy a CAAD12.

A CAAD Optimo would also be an option.daniel.mustoe said:
