aero handlebars for a propel

Hi all - hope everyone's staying safe.
I have a Giant Propel adv pro 2 2017. Basic contact SL handlebars and stem.
I'm after replacement aero handlebars and like the contact sl aero dropbars although would like to keep it below 100 ideally.
Also found Bontrager elite aero vr-cf but if there are any recommendations on sub 100 aero handlebars, I would really appreciate it
Many thanks

Is it worth paying the extra for carbon bars??0 -
That depends how much weight matters to you. The carbon version of the Prime bar is the Primavera. It looks to have the same shape, costs £80 more, but weighs about 140g less. For me, that was worth it, and I have a Primavera bar on a couple of my bikes, but for you it may not be.darrell1967 said:

Prime is Wiggle's own component and wheel brand. The stuff I've had has been decent quality and good value, and that opinion seems to be fairly universal.0

I'd not bother with carbon bars. Some are heavier than their Alu equivalents. And if your bike topples over - you'd want to replace CF bars.1

ControlTech Cougar in alu.0

It's worth noting that the Prime bars are made by ControlTech, and the Cougars appear to be the same bar as the one mentioned above, so you could just get whichever one of them you can get for the least amount of money.tangerineowl said:ControlTech Cougar in alu.

Deda Superzero in Aluminium tick the aero box (if not as aggressively as some) and are reasonably priced.
But try to get the 2020 versions if possible as they have much better internal cable routing.0 -
Just Googled them, only American websites came up.tangerineowl said:ControlTech Cougar in alu.

They're on eBay. Found some last night but for some reason can't post the link on here.1

I put the Primeavera on my TCR and like them so much I ended up putting them on my new Scott Addict too. They are noticeably more comfortable than either of the bars they replace with benefit on the flat top and a slight flare that I really like when in the drops.0
