How straight should my chain be?

Hi folks, apologies for this potential silly question. I'm new to road biking I bought a second hand road bike and have been fixing it up since, fiddling with gear settings etc.

Looking at my chain from the top, I was wondering how straight it should be (or whether there's anything wrong with mine)

What do you think?

Only problem there is a 'cross chaining' issue not a mechanical problem.

With 2x or 3x drivetrains it isn't advisable to use that 'extreme' combination of outer chainrings with inner cassette cogs and inner chainrings with outer cassette cogs as will be noisy and accelerate drivetrain wear.

Just be aware of these opposing front/rear combos and avoid them.
