Accomodation Manchester to Littleborough on Rochdale Canal

I am planning to cycle from Manchester to Littleborough on the Rochdale canal.
Are their any cycle friendly places to stay en route?

En route? It's about fifteen miles! :D

As far as I'm aware there are no canalside inns in Littleborough. Closest you'll get is the Lake Lounge in Smithybridge, which overlooks Hollingworth Lake. It's decent enough - but all hotels are currently closed due to the pandemic, and I wouldn't envisage them opening for months yet
Fat chopper. Some racing. Some testing. Some crashing.

I was wondering how long this expedition was going to take. :D
  • You can walk it in an afternoon and catch the train/bus home.

Are you local? I live about a mile and a half away from the lake.
