How to adjust brake lever position?

I have a flat bar Triban RC 500, but the brake levers are too far forward for my hands to reach. How do you adjust the position? I couldn't find anything on flat bar road bikes which is why I'm posting here.

You need to look at the manual for that particular brake/shifter.
There is often a screw that can be adjusted to bring the brake lever closer to the handlebar to accommodate smaller hands BUT not all have this feature.
Once you adjust the lever reach you may also need to adjust your brake blocks as they might be to close to the wheel rim and so will need re-setting also...
    Hope this helps
  • Not trying to be funny but you should be looking for a screw like the one in the video. It may be in a different position but the principle will be the same.
