Gates Belt Drive

Hello. Looking to replace my single speed commuter with a single speed belt drive bike. Almost zero maintenance on the drive. The model I am looking at comes with a 60:22 ratio, which to me sounds huge, I'm currently running a 48:18.
Does anyone know if Belt drive ratios are the same as chain, given the teeth size is different or how to convert the ratio to see similar combinations with smaller chain rings or sprockets.

As it's a belt with "teeth" the ratio's will work in the same way as regular gears, even though the "teeth" on the gates belt seem to be smaller. You just divide front by back to get the ratio. You can multiply by wheel size by ratio to get wheel inches eg, for a 28" wheel.
60/22 = 2.73:1 = 76 wheel inches
48/18 = 2.67:1 = 74 wheel inches
So very little difference.0
