Kickr Snap Thru Axle Rocking

Hi all,
I've had my kickr snap for a few months now, i'm using on my road bike with the wahoo thru axles that I got off amazon.
Since then i've noticed that my bike doesn't seem to be clamped between the to silver jaws of the kick snap properly, its is as tight as the lever is concerned, but it isn't making contact to my bike (if that makes sense), and neither are the threads holding it in place, it is if the thru axle adaptor is too long, forcing the jaws further apart than they need to be. Therefore there is currently nothing holding the 2 rear triangles together and I'm getting this wobble.
Anyone else have this problem? If so, did you manage to solve it, and how?
