Hi all,
I've decided to get into MTB a bit more. Which brand name for an entry-level Cross country bike would be a good choice? Doing some trails in hills and off-road in the lower Alps.
Thanks
M

You pick the bike, not the brand.
As I assume you're in Europe, have a look at Decathlon, 2 decent XC offerings

or for a bit less

Both are well specced and excellent value at their price point.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
I know about that. Tested a few and made up my mind.. the Giant Talon 1 GE 2020. Took it for an hour test run... Bloody nice. Thanks for giving me some feedback.. Have a lovely day.
