mavic cosmic freehub oil

quick question,

any suggestions to whats a good freehub oil for servicing the mavic freehub?
Ideally something i can get easily like from wiggle ect.

    I use actual mavic freehub oil - you can buy it on line. I forget what I used to use before that bit it was a light mineral oil.

    If you've got hair clippers the oil that comes with them, or sewing machine oil works apparently.

    I used Shimano mineral oil which seemed to work fine.

  • Sewing machine oil or clipper oil as already suggested.

    £8 for 50ml Mavic snake oil? Get in the bin! I think I paid about £3 for twice that amount from a local sewing shop...

    Mavic are making a good mark-up on that- £170 / litre for mineral oil!
