I'd probably do that again tbh - let down the tube and squidge the tyre on the rim - both sides to make sure its seated properly. Then pump up again.

Its not a buckle in the wheel thats exaggerating it is it ?

Take the tyre off and put wheel back and spin again to make sure the rim is not out of true or buckled. Ideally you want no more than 2-3mm of run-out. If it is get your LBS to true the wheel. Will cost £10-15 for this service.

Some tyres are just a bit wobbly too. As long as the rim is true it’s not much of an issue unless you like doing high speed descents on pan smooth road which face it you don’t get in the UK.

    Sometimes. Maybe. Possibly.

I bet the wobble is at the valve. Let some air out, push the valve/tube up into the tyre, give the whole tyre a squeeze around the rim and re-inflate.

It could be an untrue rim, as Nic points out, so rule that out as well.
