Is my frame ok?

Removing my pedals on my aluminium frame Giant contend the other day, the spanner slipped and hit the underside of the seat stay half way down the tube. Close up it looks like its took the top and under layer of paint off and exposed some bare metal of the frame. I've put a frame protector over it to stop any road grime getting in, would just like to know if its just superficial damage or not?

    As above, looks cosmetic only.
    If you're not fussed about the look of the chip, rather than a frame protector you can use clear nail varnish to cover it.

    It' s not dent or bent the tube ? I'd be happy riding it in that case.
