Mmmmm is today the day I don’t fill up the recycling bin, yesterday’s plans went out of the window when next door sent us a loverly case of wines and we ended having a drink over the hedge

NWFH today, effectively off for a week now although I didn't plan it that way.
Shame my parcel still seems to be abroad waiting for collection by the courier.

Quite fancy a run today but I don't think my leg is up for it so might go for a ride when the sun comes out.

Make sure that decking is bone dry LD or else you'll be sealing in moisture.
Why not leave it a bit longer.
Personally, I use water seal on all exterior woodwork - easy to apply with a weed killer pump spray bottle thingy. I can do my 12 x 8 shed in 10 mins, doesn't wash away, doesn't take eons to apply, penetrates cracks and crevices well due to the low viscosity. So easy. Plus, I only do it every other year.

Me doing school work with toots me. Then it's back to fiddling with Porker for a limited time followed by bike ride.

It's a beautiful sunny day here, hardly a breeze.
I just hope this isn't one of those dry spring and a wet summer years.

Now in year end reporting mode so busy torturing numbers until they tell me what I want to hear. Went for a run last night and also stocked up with food yesterday, so may not be venturing out until the Easter 'break' apart from walking the hounds.

At least I managed to take the Panzer for a quick pootle to charge up the battery on the way to the supermarket (I must have accidentally got lost :* ) What with lack of use and plummeting oil prices I'm saving a bloody fortune on super unleaded, so decided to spend it on food and wine :)

Not me Guv, honest o:) I kept local and kind of went round in circles close enough to the local food places that if plod stopped me I could say I was headed for such and such a shop.

Reviewing the tax accrual is dead boring, but at least I wasn't the minion who was up till the early hours actually crunching the numbers. Onwards...

Had a late night ride under the "Super Pink Moon" so feeling quite good today.
Several bags of coffee arrived in the post, so that should keep me going for a month or two.

This working from home malarkey has too many distractions. It's 12.43 and I've only just got the lappy out.
On the plus side I've just fitted some 105 cranks and a new BB to MrsHD's Bianchi and hoping to get out for my hour this afternoon in the sun.

Picked up coffee machine from repairs, finally. Got home and tried it out, and it would appear they've made it worse.... Not. Happy.

Dropped cars off this evening to mechanic for service which is long overdue. Expecting epic bill again.

Took a spin up to London to view the empty streets again. 'Burbs are busy, mainly with folk queueing outside the cheaper supermarkets. Central is dead quiet. Amused myself gunning it down haymarket and leaning it right over for the sharp right onto pall mall, then back up St James's and repeat.

Builders are laying my paving slabs today and tomorrow, which then be nearly complete back yard. The furniture has also arrived.

My new deck is millboard. No need for treatment.

I haven't ventured into these threads, but this song is an absolute fave. I have it on a playlist for training, any song that mentions pain, torture, going up, not giving up...

Intervals on the road for me this morning. Trashed my legs following yesterday's off road adventures, managed to get lost both riding to work and from.

    Afternoon folks,
Another busy day of wfh, stops me getting bored I guess. Tea was made by the daughter, son has been preparing a saudage casserole for dinner. I need to get out for my hour of exercise shortly. Being Wednesday I'll be having beer later.

You should fill the recycling at 8 on a Thursday evening, the neighbours are too busy clapping the NHS to hear you.

Excellent, I'll watch that. Met Rat Scabies on numerous occasions, he ran a rehearsal studio under Kew Bridge. Might still do it for all I know.

Sounds like good conditions to get some normally impossible KOMs due to the congestion, or has someone beaten you to it?

Is that a roundabout way of saying doing doughnuts in the car park?

Sun came out so went for a run and baked in the heat. Farmer's decided the path is closed because of coronavirus  Legs got shredded at the end trying to follow a path that time forgot.

The tracking for my parcel still says it might arrive today even though it apparently still hasn't reached the dutch post office.

If only I'd ridden with my wahoo, but it was only 35 km in the sunshine. I think there's a crit through there anyway, or is that the City. Next time I'll take the wahoo!

According to BBC news they're trying to adapt to WFH online because social distancing makes things a bit awkward.
