Chain jumping off front sprocket

I’ve had my Cube Cross Race for about 2 months. But quite regularly the chain jumps off the outside of the (single) front sprocket when I change to the lower gears. It seems to be random, the chain is clean and lubed, the teeth seem to be ok. I’m reluctant to fiddle with the tuning, but any ideas/suggestions? Thanks, Paul
